| How did you get started in music?: |
|
The first time I saw George Kooymans of the Golden Earring play guitar I was mesmerized (1984). I soon realised I liked the louder songs best. Bought a guitar (1987), had some lessons, explored the rock genre (Maiden, Metallica, Slayer, Morbid Angel, Carcass - in that order), put those experiences together with my likes of "normal" rock and other genres, and developed my own style of playing. Played in several bands; from Iron Maiden covers to technical death metal to atmospheric gothic rock to stoner. Loud guitars, pounding drums, and the adrenalin is flowing.
